Empathy is an idea that brings interactive entertainment to a new level. By monitoring the viewers physical reactions to what they see on the screen, Empathy alters the upcoming content accordingly, to try and evoke the biggest possible emotional reaction. This concept of "personalised" viewing opens up a whole new host of possibilities.

We used this model in the context of a music video, allowing the viewers to have their reactions monitored via a brain wave analyser and then altering the visual and auditory content accordingly.

To put the project in context, imagine sitting and watching your favourite tv show or Saturday night film and having it personalised ever so slightly according to your heart rate and blood pressure, being monitored through your tv remote...or your computer mouse.
