Dolls House - Under Construction
I have been experimenting with insulating the readers from each other in such close proximity, and I've found that tin foil actually does a suprisingly good job! So I have worked out a model for the house using corrugated card and tin foil. The card lends itself very nicely to being adapted for housing the readers, here are some pics: ![]() You can see the bottom two layers sandwich the foil, this is needed because the readers faulter if they actually touch the foil. ![]() The slots house the usb plug and a selection of chips on the board: ![]() ![]() This way the reader board sits flush in the flooring allowing a paper layer to go down as "carpet": ![]() And this next image shows the model from below, with the usb plug and the chips housed in the slots: ![]() ***
These next 5 images show the construction of the top 2 layers of the ground floor:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll post more as it comes together, right now...I've run out of card! |
